This product is the dried stem of Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo, family Orchidaceae, harvested from November to March of the following year, remove impurities, cut off part of the fibrous root, twist into spiral or spring shape while heating, and dry; or cut into segments, dry or dry at low temperature, the former is customarily called "Dendrobium officinale" (Dendrobium officinale); the latter is customarily called "Dendrobium officinale" (Dendrobium officinale). The former is commonly known as "Dendrobium ferruginum"; the latter is commonly known as "Dendrobium ferruginum".

Benefiting the stomach and generating body fluid, nourishing Yin and clearing heat. Used for fever and fluid injury, dry mouth and thirst, deficiency of stomach and yin, dryness and vomiting with little food, deficiency of heat after illness, yin deficiency and fire, bone vapor and strenuous heat, darkness of the eyes, impotence and weakness of tendons and bones. |
Origin and best harvesting period |
It is mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, etc. It is born on semi-shady and wet rocks in mountainous areas up to 1600 meters above sea level, and is drought tolerant and likes cool and moist environment, and is afraid of direct light. It is best harvested in the autumn of the third year. |
