"The dried flower buds or primrose flowers of Lonicera tosa Hsu et S. C. Cheng.
Function and treatment Clearing heat and detoxifying, dispersing wind-heat. Used for carbuncles and healing sores, laryngeal paralysis, dysentery, pyretic dysentery, wind-heat colds, and warm fever onset.
Origin and best harvesting period Produced in Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Anhui, Zhejiang, and other provinces. Harvested in early summer before the flowers open, in dry.
