Origin Amomum tsaoko Crevost et Lemarie (scientific name: Amomum tsaoko Crevost et Lemarie) is the fruit of a perennial herb in the ginger family, Amomaceae.
Function and treatment Drying dampness, warming the middle, removing phlegm and intercepting malaria. Used for internal obstruction of cold and dampness, distension and pain in the abdomen, fullness and vomiting, malaria and cold-heat.
Origin and best harvesting period It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou, and other provinces in China, cultivated or wild under sparse forests, 1100-1800 m. The fruits are harvested in October and November.
