Origin and best harvesting period | Sword beans are mainly produced in Jiangsu, Hubei and Anhui. Harvesting takes place in spring and summer and fall. Harvesting can start in early June-mid August, and seeds can be harvested in late July-early August. In summer and fall, seeds are sown from mid-May to early August, and can be harvested in the first half of July and the second half of October.
