Origin and best harvesting period Amaranthus is distributed throughout the country. Amaranthus is sown once and harvested many times, and the harvest is picked. The picking should be done before flowering to keep the stems and leaves fresh and the newly grown leaflets are the best part for consumption. The top of the young stem can be pinched continuously, pinching the middle and upper part, leaving the base of the stem to produce new shoots to keep the plant growing until frost. When harvesting, you can also inter-pull and harvest the big ones and leave the small ones.
