Origin and best harvesting period Angelica dahurica is grown in wet meadows, bushes, and sandy soil beside rivers, and is distributed in northeast and north China, and is mostly cultivated in the north. The harvesting time of Angelica dahurica is usually from July to September, when the leaves are yellowed and the above-ground parts fall down.
