Function and treatment	Warming the kidney to fix sperm and reduce urination; warming the spleen to stop diarrhea and ingest saliva. Used for kidney deficiency, urinary emission, frequent urination, seminal emission, diarrhea with cold spleen, cold pain in the abdomen and salivation in the mouth.
Origin and best harvesting period	It is distributed in Guangdong and Hainan, and is also cultivated in Fujian, Guangxi and Yunnan, and is best picked between May and June when the fruit is brown and the skin is less velvety.
