| Origin and best harvesting period | Ganoderma lucidum is produced in Europe, America, Africa and eastern Asia. It is commonly distributed in China, but mostly south of the Yangtze River, in the hot and rainy zone south of the Yangtze River, in the following provinces: Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi. Harvested throughout the year, impurities are removed, the lower stalk with rotten wood, sand or substrate is cut off and dried in the shade or at 40-50°C. |
