Chrysanthemums are generally harvested in mid to early October, preferably around the time of frost. It is mainly produced in Hebei, Henan, Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan. Bo chrysanthemum flowers mainly originate from Bo County, Anhui, Eddyang and Shangqiu, Henan, and are of the best quality among the medicinal chrysanthemums. Chu chrysanthemum flowers are mainly produced in Chu County, Anhui Province, and are of the best quality. Tribute chrysanthemum flowers are mainly produced in She County, Anhui (Hui Chrysanthemum) and Deqing, Zhejiang (Qing Chrysanthemum). Hang chrysanthemum flowers (white tea chrysanthemum and yellow chrysanthemum) are mainly produced in Jiaxing and Tongxiang, Zhejiang. Chrysanthemums are cultivated in warm, sunny, well-drained loamy soils or in sandy loamy soils with a high content of humus. |
