| Origin and best harvesting period |
Cassia seeds are grown south of the Yangtze River, mainly in Jiangsu, Anhui, Guangxi and Yunnan. The ripe fruits are harvested in autumn, dried in the sun, seeds are beaten off and impurities are removed. |
