Origin and best harvesting period | Hawthorn is found in the northeast, north China and Jiangsu, and is mainly produced in Shandong, Henan, Hebei and Liaoning. Hawthorn flowers in May-June and frightens in September-October. Hawthorn harvesting is generally later the further east you go, mostly starting in frost, with some even delayed until early November (winter). |
