Description | Bergapten is a major constituent of bergamot oil (Citrus bergamia). Present in celery, esp. the outer leaves, and other common grocery vegetables. Implicated in photodermatitis among grocery workers. It is also found in rose hip, sweet marjoram, greenthread tea, and tartary buckwheat. |
